Courtesy call to the President of Tottori University by the Director General of the Agricultural Research Corporation (ARC) of the Republic of the Sudan

 On 3rd October 2016, the Director General of the Agricultural Research Corporation (ARC) of the Republic of the Sudan made a courtesy call to President Teshima.

 The President Teshima said that “For the past several decades, Sudan and Japan have maintained a firm bilateral relation and deep friendship. Japan regards Sudan as one of the most important countries to maintain peace and stability in Africa. We hope our friendship and future-oriented partnership will be enhanced based upon our mutual trust and understanding. Through working together in projects, we are confident that our continued cooperation will further strengthen our institute’s relationship, and with your support, our collaboration will rise into new frontiers.”

 After receiving an address of welcome by the President Teshima, D.G. Prof. Elsadg answered that “The relationship between ARC and Tottori University, especially the Arid Land Research Center, is very important. We will exchange researchers from both institutions and would like to strengthen collaboration with your university in the future.” After this they enjoyed chatting and deepened a friendship.
