The Entrance Ceremony for Academic Year 2017 of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science was held.

Congratulatory Address by the President Teshima

 The Entrance Ceremony for Academic Year 2017 of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Tottori University was held on 6 October 2017 under the attendance of the related officials of Shimane University, Yamaguchi University and our university, and 17 people enrolled the graduate school.

 President Teshima introduced the fact in the ceremony that the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science has produced 835 graduates since its establishment in 1989, and that the graduates are active as researchers, engineers, or university faculty members in various research fields. He also encouraged the enrolled students, saying "I would like to sincerely hope you to hone your human powers through your research activities until growing into human resources capable of globally becoming active as researchers, engineers or educators".

 · Department of Bioenvironmental Science: 1 person (1 person)

 The Entrance Ceremony for Academic Year 2017 of the Graduate School of Sustainability Science, Tottori University was held on 5 October 2017, and a lot of related people including the President and executive officers attended the ceremony.

 Eight enrolled students in this time are foreign students, and their national origins are China, Korea, Mongolia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Africa.

 President Teshima gave encouraging words in the ceremony, saying "Please communicate well with the people around you including teachers in charge to lead a meaningful study abroad life".
